Arbor Day

1. The last Friday in April of each year
is established as Arbor Day in the State of Nevada.
2. The Governor shall proclaim the same at
least 1 month prior thereto, setting forth in the proclamation a recommendation
that Arbor Day be observed by the people of this State in the planting of
trees, shrubs and vines, in the promotion of forest growth and culture, in the
adornment of public and private grounds, places and ways, and in such other
efforts and undertakings as shall be in harmony with the character of Arbor
Day.
3. Arbor Day shall be observed with
appropriate exercises by the public schools of this State.
