Nevada Code § 211.171

Exchange of labor for confinement: Eligibility of prisoner; regulations for performance of labor

1. The sheriff or chief of police of the
municipality shall prescribe criteria of eligibility for the exchange of labor
for confinement. A prisoner is not eligible for another or continued exchange
if the prisoner has previously failed to perform satisfactorily labor as
assigned or to comply with regulations governing assigned labor.
2. The sheriff or chief of police shall
adopt reasonable regulations for the performance of assigned labor.
