A guardian of the estate shall not be personally liable on any written or oral contract entered into for or on behalf of the protected person where the guardian is acting within his or her authority as such guardian. Any action, suit or proceeding on any such contract shall be brought against the guardian in his or her fiduciary capacity only, and any judgment or decree obtained in such action, suit or proceeding shall be satisfied only from property of the protected person.
