As used in sections 67.1860 to 67.1898 , the following terms mean: (1) "Approval of the required majority" or "direct voter approval" , a simple majority; (2) "Board" , the board of directors of a district; (3) "District" , a law enforcement district organized pursuant to sections 67.1860 to 67.1898 .
