Sec. 495. Shafting to be erected to protect public—All shafting put up for the running of machinery on exhibition in this state, where the public are invited to assemble, shall be so put up as to prevent any person or persons coming in contact with the same. Any person or persons using shafting as named in this section, who shall refuse or neglect to comply with the same before setting said shafting in motion for exhibition, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
