***** 408.1108.amended THIS AMENDED SECTION IS EFFECTIVE 91 DAYS AFTER ADJOURNMENT OF THE 2024 REGULAR SESSION SINE DIE ***** Sec. 8. (1) In addition to any other sanction provided for in this act, a person that violates this act is subject to a civil fine of not more than $5,000.00. The prosecutor of the county in which the violation occurred or the attorney general may bring an action to collect the fine.
