Cloves; Standards.

Sec. 4.
No person, firm or corporation shall manufacture for sale, or expose for sale, sell, exchange or deliver or have in his possession with intent to sell, exchange or deliver any ground or whole cloves which contain not more than 5 per cent of clove stems, not less than 15 per cent of volatile ether extract, not less than 12 per cent of quercitannic acid (calculated from the total oxygen absorbed by the aqueous extract), not more than 10 per cent of crude fiber, not more than 7 per cent of total ash, nor more than 5/10 per cent of ash insoluble in hydrochloric acid.
