(a) A peer-to-peer car sharing program agreement shall state: (1) The daily rate, fees, any insurance costs, and any protection package costs that are charged to the shared vehicle owner or the shared vehicle driver; and (2) The car sharing period, as defined in § 19-520 of the Insurance Article. (b) A peer-to-peer car sharing program may not charge a shared vehicle driver for the use of a shared motor vehicle after the car sharing period. (c) In addition to any remedies otherwise available at law, a violation of this section shall be an unfair or deceptive trade practice under Title 13, Subtitle 3 of the Commercial Law Article.
