(a) Subject to subsection (b) of this section, the Commission shall approve, conditionally approve, or deny an application submitted under § 7-1212 of this subtitle within 1 year after the close of the application period. (b) The Commission may extend the time to approve, conditionally approve, or deny an application under subsection (a) of this section for good cause.
