Maryland Code § GP-2-101

Section GP-2-101

Unless a State or local law requires a different form of oath, an individual
appointed to a public position that requires the individual to take an oath, but not
subject to the oath required by Article I, § 9 of the Maryland Constitution, shall take
an oath to perform faithfully the duties of the office to which the individual is
appointed.
