(a) Notwithstanding any other provision of this title, the Division may enter into an agreement with a person in the State to submit a dispute arising under this title to arbitration in accordance with the Maryland Uniform Arbitration Act. (b) (1) The Division may administer a program of voluntary arbitration of consumer disputes, including: (i) The recruitment and training of volunteer arbitrators; and (ii) The education of the public and business community as to the benefits of arbitration. (2) The Division shall provide clerical help and office space for arbitration tribunals.
