Except as otherwise provided in section 9-1340, subsection (3), and unless the bank otherwise agrees in a signed record, a bank's rights and duties with respect to a deposit account maintained with the bank are not terminated, suspended or modified by: [PL 2023, c. 669, Pt. A, §132 (AMD); PL 2023, c. 669, Pt. E, §1 (AFF).] (1). The creation, attachment or perfection of a security interest in the deposit account; [PL 1999, c. 699, Pt. A, §2 (NEW); PL 1999, c. 699, Pt. A, §4 (AFF).] (2). The bank's knowledge of the security interest; or [PL 1999, c. 699, Pt. A, §2 (NEW); PL 1999, c. 699, Pt. A, §4 (AFF).] (3).
