To obtain an initial license to practice architecture in Louisiana, an applicant shall present satisfactory evidence to the board of practical experience of training or experience in the field of architecture. The experience shall be demonstrated only by one of the following: (1) Satisfactory completion of the training requirements delineated by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards in the Intern Development Program. (2) A certificate record certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards that the applicant is currently registered to practice architecture in another state.
