Department of Public Service; creation; domicile; purpose and functions

A. The Department of Public Service is created and shall be a body corporate with the power to sue and be sued. The domicile of the department shall be in Baton Rouge. B. The Public Service Commission shall be the executive head of the department and shall have the responsibility for the administration, control, and operation of the functions, programs, and affairs of the department, as provided by law. C. The Department of Public Service shall be responsible for performing the functions of the Public Service Commission.
