A. A civil penalty of not more than one thousand dollars may be assessed for any violation of this Part, by a ruling of the commissioner based upon an adjudicatory hearing held in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Act. Each day on which a violation occurs shall be considered a separate offense. B. The commissioner may deny renewal or cancel the license of a licensed turtle farmer for any violation of the provisions of this Part, or of the rules and regulations adopted under the provisions of this Part, after an adjudicatory hearing held in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Act. C. The commissioner may institute civil proceedings to enforce his rulings in the district court for the parish in which the violation occurred. D. The commissioner may seek injunctive relief to restrain and prevent the violation of any of the provisions of this Part or of the rules and regulations adopted under the provisions of this Part by civil proceedings in the district court for the parish in which the violation occurred.
