Minimum qualifications of applicants seeking licensure as landscape architects are the following: (a) (1) Graduation from a four-year college or university program that is adequate in its preparation of students for the practice of landscape architecture and a minimum of four years of experience in landscape architectural work of a character satisfactory to the board, as defined by rules and regulations of the board; or (2) graduation from a five-year college or university program that is adequate in its preparation of students for the practice of landscape architecture and a minimum of three years of experience in landscape architectural work of a character satisfactory to the board, as defined by rules and regulations of the board; and (b) the satisfactory passage of an examination utilized by the board.
