1. The administration of this chapter shall be vested in the director of transportation. The department may employ such employees as are necessary for the administration of this chapter, provided the amount expended in any one year shall not exceed the revenue derived from the provisions of this chapter. 2. The director may enter into reciprocity agreements with the authorized representatives of any jurisdiction to exchange information on dealer activity in order to pursue legal action for violations.
