A designated animal purchased at an auction market may be officiallytested on the auction market premises, inthe new owner’s name atthe owner’s request and expense. This official testmust be made within twenty-four hoursfrom thetime ofsale. Ifthe test discloses reactors, the herd of origin shall be placed under quarantine.
