Indiana Code § 9-32-6.5-12

Lost, stolen, or destroyed dealer designee license plate or registration card; replacement; notification of law enforcement and secretary of state

Sec. 12. (a) Except as provided in subsection (b), if a dealer designee license plate or registration card issued under this chapter is lost, stolen, or destroyed, the dealer may apply for a replacement dealer designee license plate or registration card in the form and manner prescribed by the secretary.       (b) If a dealer designee license plate is lost or stolen, the dealer to whom the dealer designee license plate was issued shall: (1) notify the law enforcement agency that has jurisdiction where the loss or theft occurred; and (2) present to the secretary on a form prescribed by the secretary a report completed by the law enforcement agency that was notified under subdivision (1).   IC 9-32-7 Chapter 7.
