Indiana Code § 9-18.1-5-2

Passenger motor vehicles; fee

Sec. 2. (a) The bureau shall classify the following as a passenger motor vehicle, regardless of the vehicle's gross vehicle weight rating: (1) A low speed vehicle. (2) A hearse. (3) A motor vehicle that is funeral equipment and used in the operation of funeral services (as defined in IC 25-15-2-17 ). (4) A medical services vehicle.       (b) The fee to register a passenger motor vehicle is twenty-one dollars and thirty-five cents ($21.35). The fee shall be distributed as follows: (1) Twenty-five cents ($0.25) to the state construction fund. (2) Thirty cents ($0.30) to the spinal cord and brain injury fund. (3) Fifty cents ($0.50) to the state motor vehicle technology fund. (4) Two dollars and ninety cents ($2.90) to the highway, road and street fund. (5) Three dollars ($3) to the crossroads 2000 fund. (6) One dollar and twenty-five cents ($1.25) to the integrated public safety communications fund. (7) Three dollars and ten cents ($3.10) to the commission fund.
