Establishment of redevelopment project area; amendment to redevelopment resolutions; appeals

Sec. 40. (a) A commission shall establish a redevelopment project area by following the procedures set forth in sections 8 through 10 of this chapter. The establishment of a redevelopment project area under this subsection must also be approved by resolution of the legislative body of the excluded city.       (b) A commission may amend a resolution or plan for a redevelopment project area or economic development area by following the procedures set forth in sections 8 through 10.5 of this chapter. An amendment made under this subsection must also be approved by resolution of the legislative body of the excluded city.       (c) A person who filed a written remonstrance with the commission under subsection (a) and is aggrieved by the final action taken may seek appeal of the action by following the procedures for appeal set forth in section 11 of this chapter. The appeal hearing is governed by the procedures of section 11(b) of this chapter.
