Notary public; application for commission

Sec. 2. (a) An applicant seeking a commission as a notary public, including an applicant reapplying for a subsequent commission, must complete: (1) a course of education; and (2) an examination.       (b) A notary public must fulfill a continuing education requirement not to exceed two (2) hours of continuing education every two (2) years.
