Sec. 2. The department shall maintain medical records for children who receive foster care. The department shall do the following: (1) Maintain a record of medical care provided to a foster child. (2) Facilitate a provider in providing appropriate care to a foster child. (3) Allow foster parents to authorize routine and emergency medical care to a foster child.
