"Adverse action"

Sec. 2. "Adverse action" means any administrative, civil, equitable, or criminal action permitted by a state's laws that is imposed by a licensing board or other authority against a nurse, including any of the following actions against the nurse's license or multistate licensure privilege: (1) Revocation. (2) Suspension. (3) Probation. (4) Monitoring of the nurse. (5) Limitation on the nurse's practice. (6) Another encumbrance on licensure affecting the nurse's authorization to practice, including a cease and desist order.
