Issuance of registration certificates; renewal

Sec. 6. (a) If: (1) the department is satisfied that the applicant has fulfilled the requirements of this chapter for the issuance of a registration certificate; (2) the bond and sureties or bank certificate of deposit filed by the applicant under section 3 of this chapter is approved; and (3) the director does not refuse to issue the registration certificate to the applicant under section 4.9 of this chapter; the department shall issue a registration certificate to the applicant.       (b) The registrations issued shall be valid for a calendar year and may be renewed annually. A copy of the registration certificate issued by the department shall be posted in the principal office of the registrant in this state.       (c) Upon request for a certificate and payment of the fee, the department shall issue to the registrant a certificate that a certificate of registration has been granted and a bond filed as required by this chapter.
