Sec. 6. (a) The board shall elect from its membership annually a chairperson and vice chairperson and shall adopt rules to govern its proceedings. (b) Each member of the board who is not a state employee is entitled to the minimum salary per diem provided by IC 4-10-11-2.1 (b). Such a member is also entitled to reimbursement for traveling expenses and other expenses actually incurred in connection with the member's duties, as provided in the state travel policies and procedures established by the department of administration and approved by the state budget agency. (c) The Indiana professional licensing agency shall supply necessary personnel to assist the board in the performance of its duties. (d) A quorum of the board consists of a majority of the appointed members. A majority vote of the quorum is required for action of the board. Formerly: Acts 1969, c.84, s.6.
