Sec. 4. (a) A direct primary care agreement is not insurance and is not subject to IC 27 . (b) Entering into a direct primary care agreement is not the business of insurance and is not subject to IC 27 . (c) A primary care provider or an employer of a primary care provider that enters into a direct primary care agreement is not required to obtain a certificate of authority under IC 27-1-3-20 .
