Sec. 0.1. The following amendments to this chapter apply as follows: (1) The amendments made to section 201 of this chapter by P.L.163-1999 do not apply to consumer loans in existence before July 1, 1999. (2) The amendments made to section 209(1) of this chapter by P.L.159-2001 apply to a contract between a lender and a debtor that is entered into or renewed after June 30, 2001.
