Indiana Code § 20-35-13-1

"Auditory-verbal accelerated education program"

Sec. 1. As used in this chapter, "auditory-verbal accelerated education program" means a specialized program: (1) that: (A) relies solely on; and (B) develops; listening skills; (2) that uses an implant or assistive hearing device for the purpose of relying on speech and spoken language skills as the method of communication; and (3) that uses faculty and supervisors certified as listening and spoken language specialists each day the child is in attendance.
