Sec. 2. (a) The state department may promote a national lupus organization's initiatives to educate and train physicians, other health care providers, and human services providers on the most current and accurate scientific and medical information regarding the following concerning lupus: (1) Diagnosis. (2) Treatment. (3) Risks and benefits of medications. (4) Research advances. (5) Therapeutic decision making, including medical best practices for diagnosing and treatment. (b) The state department may distribute medically sound health information on the state department's Internet web site for review by the following: (1) Local health departments. (2) Schools. (3) The division of aging. (4) Employer wellness programs. (5) Physicians and other health care providers. (6) Hospitals.
