(Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2027) Sec. 29. Any contract or agreement signed by any person prior to, or as a condition of, such person receiving medical treatment in any form, which releases from liability any physician, hospital or other health care provider for any malfeasance, misfeasance or nonfeasance in the course of administering any medical treatment or service is void and against the public policy of the State of Illinois.
