As used in Article III of the Interstate Compact for the Placement of Children contained in Code Section 39-4A-7 , the term "deprived" means, with reference to this state, the same as the term "dependent child" as defined in Code Section 15-11-2 . Added by 2024 Ga. Laws 425,§ 1, eff. upon enactment of the Interstate Compact for the Placement of Children into law by the thirty-fifth state.
