Florida Code § 620.1114

Designated office, registered office, and registered agent

(1) A limited partnership shall designate and continuously maintain in this state: (a) A designated office, which need not be a place of its activity in this state. (b) A registered agent for service of process upon the limited partnership and a registered office, which shall be the address of its registered agent. (2) A foreign limited partnership shall designate and continuously maintain in this state a registered agent for service of process and a registered office, which shall be the address of its registered agent. (3) A registered agent of a limited partnership or foreign limited partnership must be an individual who is a resident of this state or other person authorized to do business in this state.
