Agreements with federal government or agencies

The Department may enter into agreements, consistent with this chapter, with the Secretary of Transportation of the United States
relating to the control of outdoor advertising in controlled areas and take action in the name of the State to comply with the terms of such
agreements.
The Department may accept allotment of funds by the United States, or any department or agency thereof, authorized by the Federal-Aid
Highway Act of 1958, or any subsequent legislation supplementary to or amending such Act, in connection with any agreement entered
into by the Department and the Secretary of Transportation of the United States relating to the control of outdoor advertising in controlled
areas adjacent to the interstate and/or primary system.
