A person with a medical condition who possesses a registry identification card or equivalent certification from another state or territory of the U.S. and who would otherwise qualify to obtain a registry identification card in this State may use the out-of-state registry identification card or equivalent certification for any purpose for which the person would be authorized to use a registry identification card issued under this chapter.
