A person is guilty of securing execution of documents by deception when, by knowingly misrepresenting the nature of the document, the person causes another person to execute any instrument affecting, purporting to affect or likely to affect the pecuniary interest of any person. Securing execution of documents by deception is a class A misdemeanor.
