Colorado Code § 25-4-1301

Legislative declaration

The general assembly hereby declares that the
sanitary protection of bulk foods and the sanitary maintenance of equipment used to display and
dispense bulk foods are matters of statewide concern and are affected with a public interest and
that the provisions of this part 13 are enacted in the exercise of the police powers of this state for
the purpose of protecting the health, peace, safety, and general welfare of the people of this state.
