Aiding escape from an institution for the care and treatment of persons

with behavioral or mental health disorders. Any person who knowingly aids the escape of a
person who is an inmate of an institution for the care and treatment of persons with behavioral or
mental health disorders and who knows the person aided is confined in such institution pursuant
to a commitment pursuant to article 8 of title 16 commits the offense of aiding escape from an
institution for the care and treatment of persons with behavioral or mental health disorders,
which is a class 5 felony.
