(1) All applicants, unless licensed by endorsement, shall be required to pass a written examination. (2) Examinations shall be held within the state, at least once a year, at such times and places as the board shall determine. (3) The board shall issue a license to each applicant who passes the examination and who is not otherwise disqualified to receive a license under the provisions of this article 295.
