Investment adviser registration depository - definition

As used in this
article, unless the context otherwise requires:
(1) "Investment adviser registration depository" means the electronic computer
registration system known as the investment adviser registration depository, which is operated
and maintained by the financial industry regulatory authority and by the states that participate in
the system. The term includes any successor system.
