The project for flood protection on Redwood Creek in Humboldt County is adopted and authorized substantially in accordance with the recommendations of the Chief of Engineers in House Document Numbered 497, 87th Congress, as authorized by Act of Congress approved October 23, 1962 (Public Law 87-874, 76 Stat. 1173, Title II, the âFlood Control Act of 1962â), at such estimated cost to the state as may be appropriated for state cooperation by the Legislature upon the recommendation and advice of the department.
