âManufacturerâ means any person who produces from raw materials or basic components a manufactured home, mobilehome, or commercial coach of a type subject to the provisions of this part, or who permanently alters for purposes of retail sales, rent, or lease, within this state, manufactured homes, mobilehomes, or commercial coaches by converting them into manufactured homes, mobilehomes, or commercial coaches subject to this part.
