(a) There is within the office of the Governor, the office of the Governorâs Tribal Advisor, which shall be headed by the Governorâs Tribal Advisor. (b) The Governorâs Tribal Advisor shall be appointed by, and serve at the pleasure of, the Governor. (c) The Governorâs Tribal Advisor shall be an enrolled member of a federally recognized tribe in California.
