(a) The Division of Elementary and Secondary Education shall ensure that each teacher receives professional awareness on: (1) The characteristics of dyslexia; and (2) The evidence-based interventions and accommodations for dyslexia. (b) Professional awareness may be provided: (1) Online; (2) At an education service cooperative; or (3) At another venue approved by the division. Amended by Act 2019, No. 910,§ 1784, eff. 7/1/2019.
