Director of Alcoholic Beverage Control - Staff

(a) The Director of Alcoholic Beverage Control shall be an attorney duly authorized to practice law by the Supreme Court, who shall present all evidence tending to prove violations of the law or rules at hearings held by the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board. (b) The director shall employ such other personnel as he or she may deem necessary and as may be authorized by the General Assembly. (c) All personnel employed by the director shall be subject to the approval of the board. (d) Any person employed by the director may be removed by him or her at any time subject to the approval of the board. Amended by Act 2019, No. 315,§ 33, eff. 7/24/2019.
