(a) To implement the highest level of interagency cooperation, each state agency whose functions involve the administration of programs which directly or indirectly fund the purchase of public transportation services, equipment, facilities, or support operating assistance shall be required to issue policies advocating support for coordinated public transportation and the recommendations coming forth from the Arkansas Public Transportation Coordination Council. (b) Each state agency which is requested by the council to submit information necessary to carry out the purpose of this chapter shall do so in a cooperative and timely manner.
