(a) At the close of each session of the General Assembly, the Secretary of the Senate shall furnish to the Secretary of State a complete list of all property and equipment in the Senate Chamber, and the Clerk of the House of Representatives shall furnish to the Secretary of State a complete list of all property and equipment in the House Chamber. (b) The Secretary of State shall, after checking the property, issue a receipt to the Secretary of the Senate for the property of the Senate and to the Clerk of the House of Representatives for the property of the House of Representatives placed in his or her custody.
