(a) (1) Development of the donated parcel shall be strictly for the construction or maintenance of a homestead for eligible persons. (2) Upon completion of the construction of the home, the city, incorporated town, or community organization may sell, lease, or grant the home to any eligible person. (b) (1) The homestead is to be used strictly for the private residence of the eligible person. (2) The sale, lease, or grant of the home shall be a transaction between the applicant and the eligible person. Acts 1993, No. 1009, §§ 11, 12.
