(a) If agreed to by state agencies responsible for maintaining requested data sources, the Arkansas Center for Health Improvement may have access to the agencies' information and data to facilitate operation of the Arkansas Health Data Initiative. (b) Data under subsection (a) of this section include: (1) Public health databases; (2) Healthcare-utilization data; (3) Financial data related to the procurement of health or healthcare-related services; (4) Data supplied as part of mandated reporting requirements to state agencies by entities, including, but not limited to, other state agencies and departments, nonstate entities, external vendors, and other entities as identified by the initiative; (5) Data collected and maintained under the State Health Data Clearinghouse Act, § 20-7-301 et seq.; and (6) Other data sources supported and maintained with state funds.
