(a) (1) The Director of the Arkansas Center for Health Improvement shall establish and maintain a program to access health data to be known as the "Arkansas Health Data Initiative". (2) The initiative shall be administered and maintained within the the Arkansas Center for Health Improvement. (b) The purpose of the initiative is to serve as an access point for studies concerning state and federal health information and to inform and support Arkansas health policy officials. (c) Policy development and access to data under the initiative is contingent upon the availability of funding to support projects under the initiative. Acts 2003, No. 1035, § 2.
